Lisa Kudrow Received A Gift From Post-its Since She Did Invent Them After All

People seem to forget that quality female-driven comedies existed prior to Bridesmaids. If you haven’t seen Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion, please see to it that you get whatever password is required so that you can watch it tonight with your cat and a glass of wine.

To celebrate the brand’s 35th anniversary, the people at Post-it pulled a wildly clever publicity stunt aimed at everybody that appreciates 90’s nostalgia. They sent Lisa Kudrow a package, complete with adorable flowers made of Post-its, referencing the running joke in the film that her character claimed to be the inventor of Post-its. Just yesterday, Kudrow posted a pic of her thoughtful gift from the company on her Instagram.

In addition to appearing in the classic masterpiece that is Romy and Michele, the Post-it also made a cameo in a pivotal episode of Sex and the City. I wonder if SJP received a package too for her work in the legendary “He broke up with me on a post-it!” scene. If not, she should have.
