Elizabeth Warren Is Being Coy About Supporting Hillary Or Bernie
Massachusetts senator/queen of liberal hearts Elizabeth Warren told New England Cable News today that she doesn’t “have a timeline” on her endorsement for the Democratic nominee. Warren has praised both Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders for their financial reform plans, but has stayed out of the spotlight while the two duke it out for the nomination.
She also took some time to throw shade at Mitt Romney for not speaking out against Donald Trump sooner, saying, “I’m sorry, where was Mitt Romney since he ran for president?”
NECN also asked Warren about whether or not she’d consider a vice presidential bid, but she said it was “way, way premature” for that — without ruling it out. So, basically, she loves financial reform, doesn’t love Republicans, won’t make any big statements, the world is still turning, and Elizabeth Warren is our sun.
