Former First Lady Nancy Reagan Dies At Age 94

Former first lady of the United States, Nancy Reagan née Nancy Davis has died, according to a spokeswoman with the Reagan Library. She was 94 years old.

Her cause of death was congestive heart failure. Mrs. Reagan will be buried at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California next to the body of her late husband former President Ronald Reagan who died in 2004.

Her career in film began with a few small supporting roles in two films released in 1949, The Doctor and the Girl with Glenn Ford and East Side, West Side starring Barbara Stanwyck among many other films to come before her career came to a halt after MGM released promotional material quoting Davis as saying that her “greatest ambition” was to have a “successful happy marriage.”
