Kanye West Illegally Downloads And Has The Tweet To Prove It

Now I ain’t saying he’s a pirate, but Kanye West tweeted out a picture of his browser with a tab open to the file-sharing site, Pirate Bay. Conveniently, it’s the same site his new album, “The Life of Pablo,” has been downloaded by hundreds of thousands of people who didn’t stream it through PornHub before it was taken down. Indeed, it’s been a weird week for Yeezy and piracy.

Followers were quick to point out that Kanye was pirating synthesizer program called Serum, which only costs $189. After previously tweeting about $53 million of personal debt, he’s unlikely to stop spending lavishly on himself. It’s not totally surprising that he would cut corners when it comes to his work. But, as music producer Deadmau5 tweeted, it’s kind of a dick move.

But upon further review of the original tweet, it seems we’ve overlooked another Kanye confession: Your boy listens to Sufjan Stevens. Stars really are just like us.
