80s Model Cheryl Tiegs Really Steps In It When She Calls Plus-Size Model Ashley Graham ‘Unhealthy’

Big time 80s model Cheryl Tiegs deployed some shade all the way back from the last decade she was popular by calling another model “unhealthy” in an interview on Wednesday.

Ashley Graham has been making waves recently as the first plus-sized model to be featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition (and in general as a proud supporter of a movement to end size shaming in modeling), but all Cheryl Tiegs sees is a pretty face and a non-Dr. Oz approved waistline.

“I don’t like it that we’re talking about full-figured women because we’re glamorizing them, and your waist should be smaller than 35 [inches],” Tiegs told E! News. “That’s what Dr. Oz said and I’m sticking to it.”

This all seems terribly legit for someone so brutally out of touch, right?

Tiegs clarify her thoughts on Twitter, but based on the comments has only made it worse.

Good luck getting jumped in to the 21st century!
