Sarah Michelle Gellar Announces Return To Cruel Intentions on Instagram
Who needs publicists when you’ve got Instagram? Sarah Michelle Gellar let the world know she’s coming back for more dangerous liaisons in the upcoming TV adaptation of Cruel Intentions on the social media platform last night. SMG posted an early #throwbackthursday pic of herself with director Roger Kumble and exec producer Neal Moritz (exec producer).
#throwbackthursday (a bit early in Los Angeles) this picture was taken on the eve of production on the original #cruelintentions. Its me #rogerkumble (director) and #nealmoritz (exec producer) and the other is a picture of us now on the eve of production on the new #cruelintentions. That’s right “everybody loves me, and I intend to keep it that way” #kathrynmerteuil is back!!! I am happy to say that I will be joining them (and @nbctv ) on the new #Crueltv
NBC’s Cruel Intentions will star Sophina Brown, Taylor John Smith, and Samantha Logan. According to Deadline, the pilot script is being penned by Kumble and Lindsey Rosin and Jordan Ross, the folks behind The Unauthorized Musical Parody Of Cruel Intentions. If it’s good enough for Kathryn Merteuil, it’s good enough for us.
