Scientists Find A Daddy Long Legs With A 99 Million-Year-Old Giant Boner

About 99 million years ago a male harvestman (aka daddy longlegs) Halitherses grimaldii, hit puberty and never looked back. How could he look at anything else? According a recent article released by The Science of Naturehis penis grew to nearly half his length when fully erect.

Embarrassingly, while fully aroused and likely mating in a tree, he was killed by oozing tree resin that later fossilized him and his huge wang in a lump of amber. At least he died doing what he loved!

Most male spiders and scorpions mate using modified legs that transfer sperm to mate, giving new meaning to the term third leg. But most harvestman are like the one that was found, complete with a full peen.

Incidentally, the female genitals are also located near their mouth parts. Who would’ve known  that arachnids with “daddy” in their names would turn out to be such freaks?
