WTF, TLC?: Duggars To Return For Another Season of “19 Kids And Counting?”

Well! It looks like it didn’t take TLC all too long to get over the whole about Josh Duggar being a lying, hypocritical, child molesting adulterer thing! Because guess what? They’re bringing the Duggar clan back for yet another season of “19 Kids and Counting!”

Naturally, this will give the family the opportunity to again hold themselves up as paragons of Christian wholesomeness and virtue, despite having covered up their son’s propensity for child molestation. Not to mention the fact that it’s pretty likely that their intense focus on both purity and the concept of women as merely child-carrying vessels that helped Josh turn into the man he is today.

TLC will go on to super great ratings, clearly, and the family themselves will continue to rake in the dough the only way they know how.

The Christian Post, which is clearly very excited about the show’s return, reports:

Fans are still interested in learning more about the rest of the family and how the scandal had affected them. With that, TLC released several episodes of “Jill & Jessa: Counting On,” which showed the sisters coping with the scandal’s aftermath.

After seeing the success of the short series, it was announced that TLC will be bringing back “19 Kids and Counting” to the small screen. Reports show that a camera crew was recently seen with the Duggar family. They were seen in several locations such as a lumberyard and a thrift store.

Really? People are interested in that? And they still have fans? Ick.

According to The Christian Post, the new season will focus primarily on 26-year-old “old maid Jana,” who will be discussing how sad she feels about being single while her younger sisters are all married and started on the path of being continually pregnant for 20 years or until menopause kicks in. You know, because this didn’t sound enough like a horrible nightmare to begin with.

No word, as of yet, if Josh will be returning after his months in pretend sex addiction rehab–but let’s be honest, he probably will be.
