Voodoo Doughnuts Makes Donut Of Ammon Bundy Behind Bars
After Oregon Militia leader Ammon Bundy was arrested last Tuesday and jailed in Portland, Voodoo Doughnuts brilliantly welcomed him by designing a donut that portrays him behind bars and simply says: Welcome to Portland (paired with a winky face for emphasis).
The leader and his seven militia followers were finally arrested this week after a month-long occupation of an Oregon Federal Wildlife Refuge, a stint that managed to unite both conservative and liberal minded people with it’s idiocy.
Voodoo Doughnut’s co-owner Kenneth Pogson was the brain behind the Bundy doughnut, stating his intentions were all to poke fun of the situation, while showing off some delicious artistic skills.
The doughnut itself is not for sale, but remains on display for customers who come through.
