Bloomberg May Run For President For Some Reason

The former two-term mayor of New York City, Michael Bloomberg, has decided to take a stab at the presidential nomination all of a sudden. He has also indicated that he’d probably be willing to spend $1 billion of his own fortune on the campaign. Um, alright?

He’s not 100% sure yet though, and has apparently set a deadline for making a final decision in early March, the latest that Bloomberg could enter the race and still qualify to appear as an independent candidate on the ballot in all 50 states.

Even though he’s not a likely candidate, I think it’s safe to say that he is much better equipped to lead than any of the Republican candidates at this point. I would take old Bloomy over Trump any day of the week. Even though he would be running as a third party, it’s certainly a party that many more moderate Republicans would turn to in favor of the wild west that is the current Republican candidate pool.
