Jim And Pam From “The Office” Were Kinda In Love The Whole Time

The protracted love affair of Jim and Pam from The Office is low-key one of the greatest love stories of our time, mostly because it felt very, very real. And, here we are, in 2016, learning that the fictitous love on screen between Jenna Fischer and John Krasinski was actually a tiny bit real.

Last night on Watch What Happens Live, Fischer answered a viewer question about her on-screen chemistry with Krasinski, saying “There is a real part of me that’s Pam and a real part of him that’s Jim. And those parts of us were genuinely in love with one another.”

She clarified that they aren’t actually their characters, though you could have fooled me and I still see buff-ass, hot-ass John Krasinski as Jim Halpert. The relationship she’s actually describing is a work spouse, your office ride or die who always has your back, but I guess the dynamic changes a teensy bit if you’re starring in a fake documentary for a big chunk of your life, some of the fake love might change to real love eventually.

Regardless, Jim and Pam were adorable, Jenna Fischer looks great and if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to dig out my diorama of their love and update it thusly. The whole thing is very sweet. Watch it here.
