Caitlyn Jenner Is Writing A Memoir
Caitlyn Jenner’s had a pretty big 2015, and if the first few weeks of this year are any indication, she’s not going to stop anytime soon.
The New York Times reports that Jenner will be teaming up with leather aficionado Buzz Bissinger to write a memoir, due from Grand Central Publishing sometime in 2017. Bissinger is the colorful personality behind Friday Night Lights, the book that inspired a film, a TV series and introduced the world to the importance of Tim Riggins.
Bissinger spent a lot of time with Jenner to write the Vanity Fair cover story that introduced her to the world for the first time. A self-described “cross-dresser with a big-time fetish for women’s leather,” Bissinger feels he can relate to Jenner’s transition, and will hopefully use sensitivity in bringing her story to light.
The book will reportedly follow Jenner’s childhood as Bruce Jenner and her adulthood as a gold-medal winning Olympian, as well as details about her two marriages, her children and her relationship to Kris Kardashian.
“Thins have been moving so quickly,” Jenner said in a statement released by Grand Central. “It will be nice to slow things down a bit and reflect properly on this journey.” Here’s hoping that it all turns out okay.
