This Artist’s Dick Pics Are Like Etsy For Your Penis

A good dick pic — well-lit, clear but not too sharp, erect, proud — like a good man, is hard to find. Soraya Doolbaz, an artist living in New York City, understands this. Her project, Dicture Gallery, elevates the humble, ill-advised dick pic to high art with a dash of whimsy that I will allow just this once. From her statement:

My goal with all this was to make people laugh. I wanted to create comfort and confidence around sexuality for men and women. Men should be proud of their dicks regardless of its size or characteristics. Women  and gay men should have no shame in enjoying them. The demand is there. Most women, 100% of gay men, LOVE cock. Safe to say most people love cock. So why is it so hidden?

Fair point. Dick, while it is often mediocre and usually very abundant, is a fun thing to have around. If your dick pics generally look like something you shot in the one remaining stall of your work bathroom, think long and hard (hurrr) before you hit ‘send’.  Your dick pics are not of this caliber, trust me.

That’s Dongye West, a.k.a “Cockeezy.”

There’s something about putting tiny clothes and accessories on anything, from a St. Bernard to an erect penis, that really endears you to them. Here’s Mr. Dickman, who is somehow less intimidating in a sensible sweater and rimless glasses.

Staging these twee dickscapes is Doolbaz’s way of changing the narrative of nudes and shifting the focus. “In my humble opinion, men have been controlling the content,” she writes. “As a result, tits and ass have owned the spot light.”

It’s not that serious, dudes. Dicks are dicks are dicks. Try dressing yours up like a businessman late for a board meeting with his investors and see how that works out. Let us know. For more inspiration, can check out the rest of her work here.
