Man Is Accused Of Stealing 7,500 Pounds Of Candy

A man in Hesperia, California was arrested on Thursday for hoarding huge amounts of stolen candy in his garage.

Although Jesus Ibarra was freed on bail, his candy sting operation has now come to a close. The police found out about his operation when they discovered online advertisements leading to his illegal candy business. The candy was stolen pre-inspection from trucks owned by the Mars Candy Co.

His garage was turned into a candy store with over 30 racks of boxed candy that he labeled with prices.

I guess this is more harmless than drug peddling right? Still, it’s theft.
