Camille Cosby, Bill Cosby’s Wife, Will Have To Testify In Civil Case Against Him
Camille Cosby has been ordered to testify against her husband, Bill Cosby, in a civil suit in Massachusetts. According to the New York Times, United States Magistrate Judge David H. Hennessy ruled on Thursday that Camille Cosby would have to testify against her husband in the case, which is a defamation suit brought against Cosby by seven of his myriad accusers.
There’s limitation of scope on the questions, which means that Camille Cosby would likely face questions about her knowledge of her husband’s alleged abuse over the years. Camille, for what it’s worth, has kept silent as this entire debacle has unfolded. But, according to Page Six, she’s not necessarily standing by her man. From a source:
“My husband doesn’t deserve jail, but he does deserve every bit of the hell he’s going through now even though he is still pretending that this hell doesn’t exist.”
Lest you think that Camille is actually complicit in her silence, please understand that she is a woman who has stuck by her husband for years and years for reasons that nobody knows. Now, it turns out he’s a monster. Did she know how much of a monster? Did she have any understanding of what he was doing? I guess we’ll find out!
“She’s been fighting giving a deposition, but that’s not because she wants to keep protecting Bill, it’s because it’s so humiliating,” the family source said.
“Humiliating” is one way to put it, I guess. Camille Cosby is scheduled to be deposed on Wednesday, January 6.
