Skywriters Create Trump Bashing Messages Above Rose Bowl Parade

The annual New Year’s Day Rose Bowl Parade is usually full of just parade stuff, football and good ol’ American cheer, but yesterday the 127th Annual Tournament of Roses (the official name), got some extra attractions, when 6 skywriting planes took to the sky to send a severe message about one presidential candidate that needs to be stopped: Donald Trump.

I dig this hard, because they basically did what we all want to do – blast smoke in the sky big enough for thousands to read it clearly and shockingly, because it seems like we aren’t loud enough as it is. And luckily, because of social media, many more thousands were able to read the messages as well. Messages ranged from “Trump Is Racist” to “Trump Is Disgusting” which could not be in clearer English.

The mastermind behind the messages in in the sun was Stan Pate, a millionaire real estate developer from Alabama, who unfortunately has donated to Marco Rubio’s campaign. However, nowhere in his skywriting did he support Rubio, so at least we were free of that.

Pate stated of his “art”

“There’s no place for him. He needs to go back to one of his tall towers and build buildings and whatever else he does. He’s a despicable man.”
