The Beatles Are Set To Debut On Streaming Services This Christmas Eve

It’s a Christmas[/Hannukah/Kwanzaa/Yule/Secular] miracle! The Beatles will (reportedly) be available on streaming tomorrow!

Billboard reports that they’ve received “conflicting reports” that indicate that at least some streaming services will have the Beatles’ studio albums available on December 24. Spotify declined to comment, and Apple, Tidal, Deezer and Slacker hadn’t immediately returned a request to comment on whether the Fab Four would be available tomorrow. (Pandora, by the way, already streams the Beatles – but only because the service is non-demand.)

Billboard also reminds us all that it’s no surprise that the Beatles have been so slow to come to streaming music – it took six years for the band to hit iTunes, 22 years to remaster their albums after they were released on CD, 25 years to release a documentary after the band broke up, and they didn’t engage with video game soundtracks until 2009.

Here’s hoping Santa delivers a little early!
