Paris Climate Change Agreement Adopted

After two weeks of heavy negotiations in France, a total of 195 countries approved a pact that would slowly wean the world off of fossil fuels in this century.

The aspiration is to reduce global warming to 2ºC, with an end target of 1.5ºC. It’s the first time a global effort to end global climate change has come to an agreement in two decades.

Developing nations already feel the impacts of climate change, but it is also no surprise that everyone feels it in staggering ways.

Most eerily apt, is the fact that today in New York City is it over 65 degrees Farenheit on December 12th. A record.

Finally something huge is being done.
