Check Out The Trailer For Natalie Portman’s New Western, “Jane Got A Gun”

Now geared up to premier in 2016, the trailer for Natalie Portman’s new Western, “Jane Got A Gun,” has just been released, and the crew’s journey up to this point has been exhausting, to say the least.

Originally slated to release in 2014, the film switched directors after original director Lynne Ramsay neglected to show up the first day of shooting, and subsequently was sued by the film’s producers for drinking and being inappropriate on set. Gavin O’Connor took her place in continuing and completing the project.

The film’s plot centers around Portman’s character (Jane) who teams up with her ex-boyfriend to save her husband from violent outlaws in the wild wild west. As can seen above, the trailer shows a par-for-the-course series of cryptic shots, that give very little credence to the actual quality of the writing or plot, but DO exhibit that Ewan McGregor can still get it, whether covered in dust or freshly laundered.

I’ll let you make your own decision about the potential of this movie, as I’m too busy writing dystopian saloon fanfic for McGregor.
