Jennifer Lawrence Slated To Direct Upcoming Comedy “Project Delirium”

Interested in directing since her high school years, beloved actress Jennifer Lawrence was just signed to direct a new comedy, Project Delirium,” which is named after and based on the 2012 article focusing on mental warfare in the 1960s, particularly military doctors running experiments on soldiers. Lawrence described it as: “An acid experiment gone terribly wrong.”

Lawrence said she’s long considered directing one of her career goals, but didn’t want to pursue it prematurely or speak rashly before having a plan. With an impressive amount of hit films under her belt and time navigating the industry, she feels now is the ideal time to start embarking on her directing path.

Good for her, I’m always excited to see more women in the director’s seat and am curious to see what Jennifer Lawrence brings to the table!
