Charlie Sheen To Reveal HIV-Positive Status To Matt Lauer

In what is surely a nightmare for everyone involved, it was recently revealed that Charlie Sheen has been diagnosed with HIV for some time. Unsure of how he contracted the disease in the first place, Sheen has kept the disease a secret not only from the public at large, but from his ex-wife Brook Mueller, and several recent lovers.

When finding out he exposed her to potential infection, his ex-wife Mueller said: “I couldn’t handle the HIV news. Just 6 months ago I was diagnosed with the eye disease and then Charlie potentially giving me HIV, it’s too much.”

Sources told Radar that at least four other partners claimed exposure to the infection from Sheen, one of whom he paid off in a hush settlement.

The actor who’s in the past boasted of sleeping with 5,000 women, was also called out by ex-fiance Scottine Ross in a video in which she lambasted him for having unprotected sex with her for over year after knowing about his diagnosis.

Apparently, the secret has been whispered among Hollywood insiders for some time, ultimately being outed to media after Sheen confided in dozens of different sources who finally decided come forward.

Charlie Sheen is scheduled to appear on “The Today Show” Tuesday to sit down with Matt Lauer and talk about his diagnosis. Hopefully for all involved, those exposed have not become infected, and this encourages responsible communication in the future.

If you or a loved one are concerned about possible infection, contact the Center For Disease Control and Prevention immediately.
