Can Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth Get Back Together Please?
Remember that one time a million years ago when Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were together for four years and almost got married? The couple called off their engagement in September 2013, not long after Miley’s twerk-filled VMA performance, but rumor has it they may still hold a candle for each other. The theories started when Liam was asked in a recent interview with Men’s Health about whether he felt that he “dodged a bullet” by breaking up with Miley, and his reply was unexpectedly wistful, complete with claims that he knows what they had was real, and that he doesn’t “think those feelings will ever change.” The universe at large took the creative liberty to reinterpret that phrase to mean “I am still in love with Miley and always will be,” which, sure? Soon after, on Halloween, Miley posted a picture of herself on Instagram rocking a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles onesie — not just any TMNT onesie, but the same one Liam wore when he took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge back in 2014!

Secret message of support to her ex, perhaps? After that, things got really juicy, Hollywood Life” target=”_blank”>with a claim from a “source” who spoke to Life & Style. Reportedly, Miley was touched by the Men’s Health interview, so she texted Liam:
“She said she’ll always love him too, and that he’ll always be the man she imagines spending the rest of her life with. He messaged Miley back and suggested they catch up the next time they’re both in LA…She’s hoped they’d reunite one day when they were older and more mature. He’s the first man she ever loved and he’s still the love of her life. Miley always wanted to be Mrs. Hemsworth and that hasn’t changed.”
So, I am a major fan of these two together, but I think there’s a good chance we’re all collectively grasping at straws with these tiny little breadcrumbs we’re working with. Still, you never know, right? If they do end up back together, they sure did handle things in an admirable way. They broke up all the way and fully explored life as individuals (instead of half-clinging to each other to avoid moving on), so if their split really was about bad timing and the whims of youth, they’re probably in a great place to try things again. I mean, people break up, grow up, then find their way back to each other all the time, right? (Read: I really want this to be a thing.)
