Here’s What’s Leaving And Coming To Netflix In November

Here we are, at the end of another month, and Netflix is snatching your faves out from under you and replacing them with some lesser-known, but not altogether terrible works. Since November means that Christmas is basically here, expect a lot of holiday movies you’ve never heard of, plus a few hotly-anticipated original series, including Aziz Ansari’s “Master Of None” and the latest entry from Marvel, “Jessica Jones.”

As for what’s headed out, hunker down and get ready to say farewell to “Fargo,” “Saw,” “Scream,” “Stranger By The Lake” and a bunch more. Here’s what we like for the new arrivals.

“Idris Elba: Mandela, My Dad And Me”

Idris Elba released an album inspired by his time researching in preparation to portray Nelson Mandela. When all was said and done, he recorded some of the music he discovered during his preparations. This documentary is the result.

“Twinsters”

This documentary explores every child’s dream: what if somewhere, out there, you have an identical twin that you didn’t know about?

“Do I Sound Gay?”

Journalist David Thorpe does a deep dive into his own self-doubt and “sounding gay” in this documentary that explores what that particular phrase means to a wide variety of gay men, himself included.

“Master Of None”

This is the aforementioned thirtysomething-adrift-in-a-sea-of-indecision romantic dramedy from Aziz Ansari. It looks fantastic.

“With Bob and David”

Sketch comedy from David Cross and Bob Odenkirk? Yes, sure. Thanks. Hold our calls.

“Jessica Jones”

Krysten Ritter plays Jessica Jones, a former superhero who now works as a private investigator trying to hide her superhero past. Looks pretty dark and therefore perfect for locking yourself in your house and abstaining from socializing if you ask me.
