T.I. On Hillary Clinton: “Not To Be Sexist But I Can’t Vote … For A Woman”

“Not to be sexist but, I can’t vote for the leader of the free world to be a woman,” he said. “Just because, every other position that exists, I think a woman could do well. But the president? It’s kinda like, I just know that women make rash decisions emotionally – they make very permanent, cemented decisions – and then later, it’s kind of like it didn’t happen, or they didn’t mean for it to happen. And I sure would hate to just set off a nuke. [Other leaders] will not be able to negotiate the right kinds of foreign policy; the world ain’t ready yet. I think you might be able to the Lochness Monster elected before you could [get a woman].”

LOL, OKAY T.I. The rapper responsible for creating the monster that is Iggy Azalea spouted this nonsense during an interview on DJ Whoo Kid’s radio show (watch/listen above). Here’s a free bit of advice: Never start a sentence with “Not to be sexist but…” unless you’re warning someone in advance that you’re about to say some sexist bullshit so they can plug their ears. Second, I think we can all agree that of the baseball team’s worth of folks currently running for President, the most rash candidate BY FAR is Donald Trump, who is reportedly a human male monster. Like, in all seriousness, save for his own supporters, I’m pretty sure our entire country, regardless of party affiliation, is terrified of that garbage pile having access to the red button.

Anyway, I could really give a shit about T.I.’s opinions on a female president, but I do care that there are plenty of other normal idiots who believe that women, with their periods and their feelings and their craaaaaziness, are just too moody to be in high level positions like the presidency. This is utterly stupid and it feels like a waste of time to even bother debating the subject. However, I would like to point out that men have been running this country since it was established and even a man like Donald Trump believes they’ve done a terrible job at it. Maybe, just maybe, a woman like Hillary Clinton — even at her most menopausal!!! — could do it better.
