This Dad Got So Good At Doing His Daughter’s Hair, He’s Teaching A Class

Philippe Morgese has been a single parent to daughter Emma ever since she was a year old. Going beyond the call of duty for most dads, he spent years teaching himself how to style his daughter’s hair. He eventually became so good at doing her ‘do that other dads were asking him to trade his secrets. Now he’s sharing them at the Daddy Daughter Hair Factory.

The positive feedback he got from other parents pushed Morgese to reach out to the International Academy in Florida, inquiring about starting a class. They thought it was a great idea and the factory was born.

“I get a lot of credit for doing [Emma’s] hair and hear compliments about my role as a father because of it,” he told Buzzfeed News. “I want other dads to be able to experience that.”

Judging by a recent Reddit post, the Factory’s first class was a success. Seven dads attended and learned the basics of hair-combing, ponytails, buns and a three-strand braid. French braids are clearly for the more advanced classes that Morgese plans to launch next, as well as taking his hair tutelage on the road to Europe.

Judging from the photos taken at the first class, this is the start of something pretty sweet.
