Bernie Sanders Excites Bostonians With Call To Fight Racism And Reform Gun Laws

Vermont senator and 2016 democratic presidential hopeful wunderkind, Bernie Sanders drew giant crowds in Boston on Saturday evening, delivering passionate calls for reform.

He spoke of “an institutional racism that allows and continues to allow unarmed African Americans to be killed by police” as well as a call to enforce stricter gun control after the recent Oregon Massacre.

Sanders said we must “end the sale and distribution of semi-automatic weapons whose only goal is to kill people.” He also mentioned that our mental health resources must improve significantly if we are to solve this issue at all.

These two key items which involve reckless and unsanctioned gun violence are of paramount concern to democratic voters.

Sanders’ plans for reform are admirable, especially given the heavy tragedies which have befallen this country with seemingly no end in sight.
