Philadelphia Priest Creates Vatican And Pope Entirely Out Of Legos In Advance Of Papal Visit

Reverend Bob Simon of Philadelphia put aside his bible and his wafers to hunker down and build an impressive replica of the Vatican in advance of the Pope’s September Philadelphia visit.

The Rev. Simon spent 10 months and used approximately 44,000 legos to recreate St. Peter’s basilica and square, complete with little catholics and a pope! Awww.

And even more closely, you can peep a nun with a self stick!:

The display is shown at the Franklin Institute in the center of downtown Philly.
