Jimmy Fallon And Justin Timberlake Bring You Some More Rap History On “The Tonight Show”

Now that late-night darling Jimmy Fallon has to contend with the juggernaut that is the cult of Colbert, he’s bringing out the big guns. That means trotting out Justin Timberlake, dressed like a Tulane grad who moved to New York and works at a startup, to run through some of rap’s greatest hits.

Lest you worry that Jimmy launched with great enthusiasm into the opening bars of “Straight Outta Compton,” rest easy — Justin held him back. Also, 10 points to Gryffindor for that smooth segue from Fetty Wap’s “My Way” to Ace Hood’s “Bugatti,” a song that no one has thought about since the summer of 2012.

These two dudes also went to the U.S. Open and danced to “Single Ladies,” if that’s more your thing. Fun times all around!
