Subway Guy Jared Fogle Expected To Plead Guilty To Child Porn Charges

The Zionsville, Indiana, home of Jared Fogle, “the Subway guy,” was raided yesterday. Law enforcement told CNN that Fogle is expected to plead guilty to charges of possession of child pornography.

Fogle has a not-for-profit organization to fight child obesity called the Jared Foundation. In April, the executive director of the Jared Foundation, Richard C. Taylor, was arrested on counts of producing child pornography and possessing over 200 tapes of child pornography. In May, Taylor attempted to commit suicide in his jail cell.

Subway has declined to officially comment, other than to release a tweet stating that Fogle is no longer associated with the restaurant chain.

Neither Fogle’s nor Taylor’s attorneys have released any statements on the raid yesterday and the allegations against Fogle.
