Morgan Freeman’s Step-Granddaughter Brutally Murdered By Boyfriend

Wow, this is incredibly tragic: Morgan Freeman’s step-granddaughter was murdered this weekend, and her boyfriend has been charged in the crime. According to witnesses, Lamar Davenport, of New York City, allegedly stabbed 33-year-old E’Dena Hines, while screaming about the devil, on a NYC street at around 3 a.m. Following news of Hines’ death, Freeman told People:

The world will never know her artistry and talent, and how much she had to offer. Her friends and family were fortunate enough to have known what she meant as a person. Her star will continue to shine bright in our hearts, thoughts and prayers.”

Hines, an actress herself, made headlines a few years ago, when rumors surfaced that she and Freeman were involved in a relationship. (Her grandmother is Freeman’s ex-wife.) Our thoughts go out to all of her loved ones. [People]

A “Baywatch” movie is in the works, but don’t expect to see Pamela Anderson slowly jogging down the beach in a too-small red swimsuit. For starters, producers of the remake haven’t asked her, but it doesn’t sound like she’s interested either. “No one appreciates the remakes,” Anderson sniffed, according to TMZ. [The Guardian]

Just FYI, this is NOT a photo of Jennifer Aniston in her wedding dress. Pictures from her secret wedding to Justin Theroux have not (yet!) been released, but this pic was circulating on Facebook this weekend, erroneously claiming to be Jen on her big day. [Us Weekly]

Joe Giudice is doing double duty as both mom and dad while wife Teresa serves her 15-month jail sentence, and it sounds like he’s having a hard time. Over the weekend, Joe and 14-year-old daughter Gia got in a huge screaming fight at their home in New Jersey, and the cops had to be called. No arrests were made — but Joe will be headed to the clink soon enough regardless, as his 41-month sentence is due to start as soon as Teresa is released. [Us Weekly]

You know, I recognize that it must be difficult, in some ways, to see your ex-husband transition from male to female, but there’s something seriously annoying and self-absorbed to me about Kris Jenner piling on Caitlyn Jenner for not being “sensitive” to her pain. In a preview for next week’s episode of “I Am Cait,” Kris — who treated Caitlyn (then known as Bruce) like the family dog — accused Caitlyn of not being “amazing” to the family he left behind, herself in particular. “When you feel like you gave your whole life to somebody and the sum of it all was you were a distraction,” Kris explains in the clip below, seemingly making Caitlyn’s journey all about herself. YAWN. [People]

Those badass girls at new lady site Broadly sent Le Tigre’s JD Samson on a cross-country road trip to find out why all of America’s lesbian bars are closing — and you can watch it all on video at the link! [Broadly]

LOL, Taylor Swift is really butthurt over Miley Cyrus’s comments in Marie Claire about not liking the violent revenge fantasy of her “Bad Blood” music video — but according to Hollywood Life, she’s holding longtime nemesis (and “Bad Blood” inspiration) Katy Perry responsible. According to the gossip site, “She knows Miley and Katy hang out and she knows Katy still talks so much trash about her, she knows she tries to turn people against her. She thinks Miley is just a pawn in Katy’s game, she feels sorry for her.” [Hollywood Life]

Speaking of Miley, her Drake croptop and thong are EVERYTHING:

LadieZZZZ whooooo ❤️ Drake LOL
