Megyn Kelly Has No Time For Trump’s Drama
Megyn Kelly was on vacay over the weekend, chilling on the beach with her family. Good for her. I hope she spent her Saturday and Sunday hearing less about Donald Trump’s opinions about Megyn Kelly and where she leaks blood than the rest of us had to.
Kelly’s taking the high road, though. Trump may have spent the whole weekend having a hissy fit on Twitter about being asked if he’s electable if he’s willing to call women “fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals,” but all Megyn Kelly had to say about it was this:
“Apparently Mr. Trump thought the question I asked was unfair. He felt I was attacking him. I felt he was asked a tough but fair question. We agree to disagree. Mr. Trump did interviews over the weekend that attacked me personally. I’ve decided not to respond. […] I certainly will not apologize for doing good journalism. So I’ll keep doing my job without fear or favor, and Mr. Trump, I expect, will continue with what has been a successful campaign thus far.”
I see that subtle shade, Kelly. You keep gettin’ it. Meanwhile, can someone explain to me why Megyn Kelly isn’t running for the GOP nomination? [BuzzFeed]
