Cops Rescue Baby Skunks In NYC Subway

Two little baby skunks were found at the 6-train station on Westchester Avenue early Sunday morning.

The police officer Sargeant Carlos Bernard, and his Bronx transit cops saved the stinky babies with the help of an MTA worker. Squeee.

Apparently, skunks aren’t rare in NYC since they are natives of this fine city, they usually just hang out in parks and surrounding forests – not subways.

The skunks were brought to a vet’s office to be evaluated after they were rescued, and I’m hoping they’ll be released into the wild soon.
