10-Year-Old Girl Becomes Youngest Swimmer At World Championship

A Bahrainian girl named Alzain Tareq just became the youngest swimming competitor ever to qualify for the World Championships on Friday in Kazan, Russia, swimming in the 50 meter butterfly heats.

Tareq, whose mother is Scottish, finished with a time of 41.13 seconds. She came in last place, but who really gives a crap, she’s competing with 25 year olds.

Just wait until she’s a teen and gets even stronger, she’s going to whip everyone out of the damn pool.
