“Law & Order” Director Arrested On Child Porn Charges

Well this is heavily ironic. Jace Alexander, a producer and director who directed 32 episodes of “Law & Order” over a period of 10 years, has been arrested for possession of child porn.

After tracking his IP address after he downloaded child pornography, police got a warrant to search his home and computer, and found several files containing images of children under the age of 16 engaged in child pornography.

Alexander — whose name is, actually, Jason Alexander, but as you can see he is not like, the Jason Alexander who played George Costanza — is the son of Broadway actress Jane Alexander. In addition to directing for “Law & Order,” he has also directed episodes of “Rescue Me” and “Carry Me Home,” and, creepily enough, one episode of “Lizzie McGuire.”

First of all, fuck him. Second of all, it is very weird to know that an actual criminal was directing episodes of “Law & Order,” and I am curious to know if he worked on any episodes involving pedophiles. Third: Is this going to be an “SVU” “ripped from the headlines” episode? Yikes.
