Just Look At This Asshole: Racist Woman Goes On Unhinged Rant At The Beach
In a public post on Facebook Monday night, Chicagoan Raquel Bolton uploaded a video of an incident that occurred when she took her children to the beach and was lashed out at by a incredibly racist woman who was upset over having been “splashed.” (Content note: Racial slurs and general awfulness)
Bolton wrote: “I got called a N—ER three times plus insulted by this lady after she yelled at our kids for splashing water on her by accident ! Such a Shame the kids had to experience that while having a good time . It took every bone in my body not to lay hands on her but she wasn’t worth it . Pure ignorance.” (bleeping ours)
The woman featured in the video, in response to having been splashed by Bolton’s children, launched into a racist tirade, calling her the n-word a total of three times, and then screaming about how it was her constitutional right to do so without anyone being offended. Which it is not.
Contrary to popular belief, the right to free speech is not the right to hurl racial slurs at someone and have them shrug it off and not be offended or disgusted by you.
By the way–let’s take a look at where this woman was sitting when she got “splashed.”
She is literally sitting at the edge of the water where a bunch of children are playing. I’m gonna say, sitting where she was sitting, the odds of her not getting wet were slim to none. If you don’t want to get splashed, if that is the kind of thing that is going to upset you so deeply that you would actually just launch into a racist tirade, then you should probably move up the beach.
It is horrifying and disappointing that this is a thing anyone should have to endure while trying to take their kids to the beach on a nice day. It’s sickening. The fact that this adult woman thought she was just going to yell this bile at anyone and think they were going to just sit there and not be horrified or say anything back here is also sickening.
The very small bright side is that Chicago is not actually that big of a city (calm down people, this was not meant in reference to size or population, but in terms of a lot of people being connected to one another. I live here, I know.), and given that this post is starting to go pretty viral it’s likely that someone is going to recognize her, and I’m sure all her friends and coworkers would love to see what a monster she truly is.

After posting this article, the woman in the picture was identified as a woman who had appeared recently at an open mic at the Laugh Factory in Chicago, who called herself Ms. Puff.
Some Google Sleuthing on the part of some of my friends and I, including Akilah Nisa who originally hepped me to the video (which originally mostly resulted in pictures of a character from Spongebob Squarepants until we got creative) resulted in the discovery of her football blog, Puff’s Pieces. We then searched for that, and discovered that she had a SheWrites blog under the same title with the same postings.
Note–She refers to her readers as “Puffikins,” and to small children using the n-word. Real class act.
Her SheWrites blog listed her as Marie Puff Massion. However, some more internet detective work revealed that her name is in fact Angelle Marie Massion, that she lives in Evanston, and that she was previously arrested in 2006 for a similar offense involving harassing students at Northwestern and yelling racial slurs at police officers.
