RIP: Bobbi Kristina Brown Has Died At Age 22
Bobbi Kristina Brown, the 22-year-old daughter of the late Whitney Houston and R&B singer Bobby Brown, passed away yesterday, nearly six months after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her home in Roswell. “Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away Sunday, July, 26 2015, surrounded by her family,” her family said in a statement. “She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”
Brown was put into a medically induced coma shortly after being found, just days from the three year anniversary of her mother’s untimely death. She was first treated in a hospital, then was transferred to a hospice facility, her family hopeful that somehow, someway, Bobbi Kristina would recover. Sadly, her condition continued to deteriorate. It’s unclear if the Brown and Houston families decided to take Bobbi Kristina off life support or if she passed “naturally,” but regardless, an autopsy is planned.
Such a sad end to a promising life. Our hearts go out to Bobbi Kristina Brown’s loved ones. [CNN]
