Drake, Are You Feeling Okay? Your Video For “Energy” Indicates Otherwise
Newly-swole facial hair enthusiast Drake dropped his latest video for “Energy,” which was released exclusively to Apple Music. It looks like the result of a late-night in the studio, after too many bong hits and a fair amount of cold medicine. It is, ostensibly, illustrating the sundry enemies that Drake has, as obliquely referenced in the song. Drake — and someone who has a fondness for Micheal Jackson’s “Black Or White” video — spent some long nights in post-production superimposing his face on people like Oprah, Lebron James, a Ken Doll, Miley Cyrus and Barack Obama. Huh.
The video is really weird. Weird in a way that makes absolutely no sense. It is essentially as perfect as the time Drake wore this outfit in the “No New Friends” video:
We know what Drake is capable of. Let’s take a closer look.
DrakeBron James, ladies and gentlemen.
Who? Excuse me?
DROBAMA 2020 I DON’T CARE IF BARACK DID IT ALREADY, THIS IS A NEW PERSON, LEGGO.
Hmmm. Hmm. Let’s circle back to this later.
Alright. I guess.
If ever you wondered what Drake looked like as disgraced Toronto mayor Rob Ford, rest easy, your dreams have come true. It is not good, just FYI.
DRIEBER IS THAT YOU?
All hail Droprah. Droprah forever.
