Apple Will Finally Be Able To Track Your Period, Like You Always Wanted
Last year, when Apple rolled out its new iOS, and HealthKit, the baked-in app that measures basically everything you could ever want to know about your body, it was missing one thing — a period tracker. Naturally, this upset the masses, but it was revealed in yesterdays WWDC that iOS9 will finally acknowledge that women are people who own iPhones, too.
It probably won’t be as robust as the other third-party apps like Clue, that allow you to keep track of every single facet of your cycle, from your mood to your flow to what you ate that day. Hopefully, at the minimum, you’ll be able to track frequency and flow, so you can rely on something other than your memory. Thanks, Apple, for acknowledging my blood moon.
