Anyone who was excited when Taco Bell made a taco out of a biscuit will likely be blown away by this news: The fast-food chain will now be serving beer, wine, and alcohol “freezes,” the Chicago Tribune reports. And there’s good reason why a Chicago newspaper is reporting on it: The fast-food joint’s new location in the city’s Wicker Park neighborhood will be the only Taco Bell in the country doing it for the time being. This venue will also be getting the “urban concept” treatment—much like existing stores in the UK, Seoul, and Tokyo—featuring a more upscale design (think exposed brick walls, communal tables with stools) and serving food in baskets so patrons can see the ingredients used to create their meals, Bloomberg notes. Read more on Newser…
