Duggar Family To “Share Our Hearts” In Fox News Interview

THUMP. THUMP. THUMP.

Sorry, I was just banging my head against my desk. It seems the Duggar family has decided to grant an interview to none other than Fox News’ Megyn Kelly in which they will discuss the fact that son Josh Duggar molested five girls as a teenager. Michelle Duggar wrote on the family’s blog:

Next week we will sit down with Megyn Kelly on Fox News to share our hearts with you about the pain that we walked through as a family twelve years ago, the tears we all shed and the forgiveness that was given. We appreciate the outpouring of love and prayers for our family at this time.

Us Weekly says the interview will air on “The Kelly File” on June 3 at 9 p.m., with an addition portion of the interview airing on June 5th’s show.

Wow, it’s going to take them two whole nights to explain how they did nothing for a year after finding out that their eldest son was molesting his family members, including his sisters? I suspect that they agreed to do this interview under strict restrictions, so don’t expect Megyn Kelly to grill them especially hard — or at all — about their religion’s victim-blaming, sex-shaming ideology, or why it’s insanely hypocritical to scream about how gays and trans people are child molesters when they had one under their own roof, or how tears don’t protect children from predatory older brothers.

I am gonna come right out and predict that this is going to be among the most nauseating things ever, and considering I recently watched “Human Centipede 3,” that says something. [Us Weekly]
