Bernie Sanders Has The Most Fantastic 404 Error Message Ever
Bernie Sanders is the best for a lot of reasons. For one, he opposes the incredibly awful Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal. For another, he believes in taxing the 1% at 90%–which is actually the way things were in the 1950’s when Eisenhower was president.
AND, when CNBC’s John Harwood asked him if this was perhaps too extreme, he pointed out that the extreme thing is the fact that one-tenth of the top 1% has as much wealth as the bottom 90 percent. Which is difficult to even fathom.
“Ninety-nine percent of all new income generated today goes to the top 1 percent. The top one-tenth of 1 percent owns as much wealth as the bottom 90 percent. Does anybody think this is the kind of economy we should have. Do we think it’s moral?”
Well, I sure don’t!
In addition to being ridiculously smart and right about everything, Bernie Sanders also has the world’s best 404 error page–the url of, by the way, is actually berniesanders.com/wtf:
“Hi, this is Senator Sanders. The good news is, you’re on the right website, and it’s a really good website. The bad news is, you’re on the wrong page. Just scoot down to the bottom of the page and you’ll find your way back home to where you should be.”
Seriously, that is the cutest thing ever and he is so, so great.
