Get A Boner And Fight Malaria At The Same Time With Viagra!

The infamous boner pill Viagra, might now help fight the disease Malaria, scientists say. It can’t cure someone already infected with the disease, but it could be a preventative in its transmission by mosquitos.

When Viagra is taken it grabs onto enzymes that break down a molecule called cGMP. cGMP relaxes blood vessels in the penis to create erections. But it also helps stiffen blood cells which prevent mosquitos from passing on the disease – complicated I know.

A disease which affects nearly 200 million people a year could really use a new way of preventing its spread, so experts in infectious diseases are psyched.

Luckily, there are ways to tweak the drug so that the boner effects are set aside for this new purpose. Unless you know, you WANT both.
