Here’s What A Sunset Looks Like On Mars

After watching 0f 956 Martian sunsets, the Curiosity Mars rover at last took its first color photo of one. Over the course of about seven minutes, the rover captured the kind of lovely sunset you’d be lucky to catch on a first date. Because of particles in the planet’s atmosphere, Martians would be treated to an icy blue view instead of the orangey-pinkish-red sunsets we’ve come to love here on Earth. I love its eerie quality.
