William & Kate Sent A Sweet Breakfast To Hardcore Royal Baby Fans

A group of particularly dedicated royal baby fans have been camping out for about two weeks outside the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital in London, where William and Kate’s newest addition will be born. The media is restricted from loitering near the hospital until Kate is in labor and safely inside the hospital, leaving these folks to be the first on the scene when the moment finally arrives. Kate is reportedly several days overdue, but apparently these fans have plenty of time to just hang out all day, every day until it happens. Many of them did the same thing in the lead-up to Prince George’s birth, and they’re sleeping in tents and on benches while they wait things out. Their devotion paid off this morning when they received some treats from the royal couple!

Kensington Palace staffers woke up the fans with a delivery of pastries and tea from an area coffee shop wrapped in — wait for it — PINK RIBBON. Does the pink mean what we think it means or are they just trolling us for the fun of it at this point? A Kensington Palace spokesman assured the Daily Mail that Will and Kate themselves sent the the gift: “The Duke and Duchess have seen the news reports about these people camping out and they just wanted to let them know they were thinking of them.” So classy. The gang plans to send them a thank you note.
