Finally: You Can Do “Breakdance Yoga,” Eat Vegan & Get A Colonic All Under The Same Roof

At long last, Los Angeles has outdone itself in ways none of us could ever have imagined, except that we could, because this sounds like a satire. Behold the popular urban oasis The Springs, a catch all wellness center where a waitress said, “You can eat dinner — everything is raw, vegan, organic, soy free and gluten free — and then have your colon cleansed right through that door!”

Highlights of this 13,800-square-foot restaurant/juice bar/yoga studio/spa include a drink made with “Pürblack,” a live resin scraped off the side of the Himalayas. Plus, The Springs manages to go through one key of Kombucha every two days.

If you want to get an idea of the kinds of people who frequent the Springs, look no further than GOOP’s own Gwyneth Paltrow (our favorite), who said, “The practitioners were remarkable, I may move in there.” Of course you might, honey.

I didn’t need another reason NOT to move to Los Angeles, but here is just one more reason to stay put. [The New York Times]
