Baltimore Sun Investigates More Than 100 Cases of Police Brutality Over The Last 3 Years

In the wake of Saturday’s impassioned protests in Baltimore over the unjust killing of Freddie Gray at the hands of the police, The Baltimore Sun has released an investigation into over 100 instances of police brutality in the city.

Since 2011, Baltimore has paid $5,765,065 in settlements and court judgments on cases alleging misconduct by police. This makes the issue greater than mere racial injustice but an economic one as well; using taxpayers’ money to fund their racist brutality.
