“Full House” Is Getting A Sequel On Netflix

In today’s dispatch of “Hollywood Is Out of Ideas,” Netflix is said to be on the five-yard line of ordering a “Full House” reboot entitled — wait for it — “Fuller House.”

The 13-episode series would follow the grown up exploits of DJ Tanner and Kimmy Gibler (Candace Cameron Bure and Andrea Barber), ostensibly as they manage families of their own and contend with unbelievable home ownership prices in San Francisco’s trendy Alamo Square neighborhood. It’s rumored that Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, and John Stamos will take on guest roles in the multi-camera comedy, and Stamos may get a producer role as well. The reboot is being penned by the show’s original creator, Jeff Franklin.

Given that “Coach,” “The X-Files,” and “Twin Peaks” are all being resurrected, just as “Girl Meets World” was last year, holy shit, my time machine actually works. [TVLine]
