The FDNY’s Firehouse Cats Are Adorable Instagram Stars

Some New York City firefighters have taken to Instagram to share the lives of their rescue cats, and I’m kind of hoping it turns into a massive trend, because stumbling upon their pictures has made my day significantly more cheerful. Boogie of Ladder 24 and Carlow of Ladder 13, both in Manhattan, fill Instagram feeds with their daily adventures, like napping, exploring the firehouse, cramming into small spaces, and watching their hero humans head off to fight fires. Both kitties have thousands of followers, so I imagine their level of fame must be the feline equivalent of landing a spot in a sexy firefighter calendar. If you need a pick-me-up, take a peek at some of their antics.
