College Baseball Player Calls Mo’Ne Davis A “Slut,” Is Rightfully Booted From The Team

Mo’Ne Davis is awesome. She’s a 14-year-old pitcher from Philadelphia and is the only girl to pitch a shutout in Little League World Series history. She just published a memoir and the Disney Channel even wants to produce her biopic, “Throw Like Mo”. Considering the fact that I was journaling and listening to a lot of Tori Amos when I was her age, this is impressive and jealousy-inducing, but I certainly wouldn’t do like Joey Casselberry did and call her a slut on Twitter.

Upon hearing the news of Davis’s possible biopic, Cassellberry did what every angry white man loves to do in times of duress and threat to their personal brand — he took to Twitter:

MEAN TWEET MONE DAVIS

Cool! Calling a teenager a “slut” — because of one loss in what is assuredly the beginning of a stellar career — is super mature, professional and a really good look for someone aspiring to be a professional athlete. Casselberry has been dismissed, and Bloomburg University issued a statement on Twitter apologizing for the actions of the now-disgraced first basemen. Below is video of Davis’s last inning in her shutout game in the Little League World Series. Watch this and try to tell me that this teen doesn’t deserve all the accolades.
