Megachurch Pastor Creflo Dollar Seeks $67 Million In Donations For Private Jet

If there’s one thing everyone always says about church it’s that they need more private jets. The eponymous Creflo Dollar (I cannot believe this is his name), Pastor at World Changers International Church in Georgia, is seeking funds for a $67 million jet with which he plans to spread his godly message around the world. He’s asked followers of Creflo Dollar Ministries to “sow your love gift of any amount” — translation: gimme every dollar you have — so that he and his wife/co-pastor can purchase Gulfstream G650 airplane and “continue to blanket the globe with the Gospel of grace.”

I don’t know, but I’m pretty sure you can travel on a commercial airline and do the exact same thing? In addition to this audacious call for private jet money, Dollar also gets about $100,000 per speaking engagement. Wake up sheeple! Seriously? And get this: in 2012, Mr. Dollar was also arrested for beating up his own daughter. You guys, this dude is a real treasure. Break out your checkbooks! Not.

Welp, we now have a 2015 version of Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker. I guess each decade needs their own manipulative megachurch super felon, huh?
